News and Announcements
Dear students and families, The situation regarding COVID-19 and our local schools is rapidly evolving. Based on recommendations and information from the State Department of Education and in alignment with many schools in California, the Siskiyou Union High School District schools (Happy Camp, McCloud, Mount Shasta, Weed) will close starting Monday, March 16, 2020 through Monday March 30, 2020. To prepare for the possibility of an extended closure beyond March 30, 2020, students should plan to come to campus between 10am and 2pm on either Monday or Tuesday to pick-up any books and materials that they may need for their classes, that they have left in their lockers or in other places on campus. Teachers will reach out as soon as possible Monday morning if students will need to pick up materials for their classes. Students must also check that they have a working Chromebook and charger. If not, they should see Amy in the Office to check out this technology.

These are extraordinary times. Thank you for your flexibility. I will be sending out additional information to the MHS community as it becomes available. We are developing plans to provide students with meals during regularly scheduled school days. SUHSD is dedicated to supporting students as we work through this challenging situation.
